Projects

Migration and hardening.

A new tenant is the only moment when everything can be set up right before anyone puts the first file in it.

From where

Where we migrate from

  • From another Microsoft partner — taking over tenant and licences
  • From Google Workspace — mail, calendars, drive
  • From hosted or on-premises Exchange
  • Tenant merge or split after an acquisition

Design

Architecture

Team and storage structure, the sharing model and access design — built so they still hold up in three years.

Included

Baseline included

Fixing settings later costs more than setting them right at the start.

Cutover

No downtime

Mail runs throughout. The cutover happens outside working hours.

Project phases

Five phases, no surprises.

01

Analysis and design

We map what sits where and what cannot move, and design the target structure. The output is a plan with dates and a price.

02

Preparation

We set up the target environment to the baseline, verify domains and prepare accounts.

03

Data transfer

Data moves in the background with no impact on operations. Just before the switch we sync the last changes.

04

Cutover

We change DNS and switch mail outside working hours, usually at a weekend. On Monday work carries on.

05

After the move

Support in the first days, documentation, training and a verification measurement.

The project price depends on user count, data volume and the source environment. We send it after the analysis.
