Domain check and tenant name check
When you run a check, we record the domain or tenant name checked, the result, the time and the country. We derive the country from your browser’s time zone, not from your IP address. The record helps us understand how the tools are used and improve them — our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep the records for 12 months.
We do not store your IP address. To prevent abuse, we create a one-way fingerprint of it, which is deleted within two hours.
What your browser does directly
The domain check runs in your browser and contacts public services directly: Google’s DNS (dns.google), Cloudflare’s as a fallback, and Microsoft’s sign-in endpoint. These services see your IP address just as on any visit to their sites and process it under their own policies.
When you write to us
We use the details in your e-mail — name, company, contact and the message itself — to reply and prepare an offer, i.e. pre-contractual steps under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We keep the correspondence as long as it is needed. If a contract follows, we keep it for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
Cookies
We use no cookies and no analytics or advertising tools. If you switch the language manually, your browser remembers the choice on your device. It is not sent anywhere.
Who receives the data
We do not sell data to anyone. The website runs on servers of Hostinger International Ltd. in the EU, which keeps technical server logs (IP address, time, page visited) for security. E-mail is provided by Microsoft (Microsoft 365).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing and to data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to info@miciamo.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (dataprotection.gov.sk).
